As we enter the Christmas season, many things are going to bombard us - images, sounds, pressures, emotions.  It can be a beautiful, and terrifying time of the year.

So, here is the amazing Judy Collins to try and give us some clarity.  And joy. And certainly renew our sense of wonder at the power of music and the glory of our human voice.

If trouble was money, I'd be a millionaire.

Ain't that the truth.

But don't fret, baby, here's Albert Collins, The Master Of The Telecaster, here to make it all feel right if it's all feeling so wrong.

Lord In Heaven.

Tuesday, September 13, 2011: Phil Collins - Take Me Home (Live)

I'm such a sucker for a good live album.

There are actually people out there who don't like "live" renditions of their favorite songs.

I can't explain way, I can guess it would have something to do with people dwelling in their comfort zone, not wanting to experience anything new? Or, maybe they think that anything that isn't the official, clean rendition of a song wouldn't be as good?

Who knows.

Obviously, the great and joyous readers of this humble blog are not so narrow minded.

So, over to you, Phil. Take us away. Take us home.
