Even since people got Rockin' Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu, there's been an uneasy connection between pop music and the medical community.

Fever, anyone?

Even so, that line from Wikipedia did give me pause.

Just so we're clear, there's Dengue Fever, which is an infectious tropical disease caused by the dengue virus, whose symptoms include fever (natch), headache, muscle and joint pains, and a characteristic skin rash that is similar to measles.

And there's today's selection of Dengue Fever, which is an infection six-member band from Los Angeles who combine Cambodian pop music and lyrics with psychedelic rock.

I definitely prefer the latter.
