Wednesday, October 10, 2012: Foghat - Slow Ride

When you think of Classic Rock basslines, you probably immediately think of Geezer Butler's great Black Sabbath lines, John Entwistle's masterful Who lines or Jack Bruce's work with Cream.  Geddy Lee anyone?  Yeah, pretty much everyone.

What I'm saying is that Nick Jameson's playing with Foghat usually gets pushed back into the shadows when compared with those bright stars.  Which is a shame, because his playing is just as deserving as many, and this track right here totally deserves to be right up there in the pantheon of great Classic Rock basslines.
