CSTOD GOES TO THE MOVIES!
Yes, friends, neighbours, music lovers, scallywags and all gentle readers who stumble across my humble blog, it's MOVIE WEEK here on CSOTD.
Hopefully, this will be the first of many themed weeks. It was supposed to be Covers Week this week, but I just couldn't get the playlist right. We're striving for excellence in blogging here! We'll tweak that a little and bring it to you soon. Hopefully.
For now, though, we have a week of songs directly from, or inspired by, some of my favourite movies. And kicking off this Monday morning is the gloriously wacky and wickedly talented Primus.
Making a brief appearance in Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, as if they had any chance at all of winning the 4th Annual San Dimas Battle of the Bands, the frighteningly cool (though here, just plain frightening) Les Claypool, dolled-up in a tasty Residents T-Shirt, kicks the jams in a way that must have blown the minds of that insulated suburban crowd way before Evil Robot Bill & Ted met their demise.
Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy week!
