It's Friday.
And, despite the protestations of the Sisters of Scissor, I do indeed feel like dancing.
Who's with me?

Wednesday, January 18, 2012: The Andrews Sisters - Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy
Now, how 'bout we take the WABAC Machine all the way back to 1941, where the coolest way to get woken up is by that Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy a-blowin' reveille.
Here's your morning cup of coolness served up by the incomparable voices of the Andrew Sisters.
You're welcome.

Saturday, August 27, 2011: The All 80's Farewell To Jump Week
We started off in the 80's, let's come full circle.
In fact, according to Wikipedia, "The original title given to the song simply was "Jump". The title was modified to "Jump (For My Love)" prior to its release to avoid confusion with the Van Halen song "Jump", which was released earlier the same year."
And now from the Oakland, California girls we move to the Calgary, Alberta boys, Loverboys actually, who are still ready to jump after all that working for the weekend.
So, this now officially concludes Jump Week here at CSOTD. I know that I'm exhausted from a full week of jumping.
I do hope this week was able to liven your spirits, at least a little.
And, if it hasn't, then I've saved the jumpiest number for last - the manic madness that is the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Enjoy.
