Tuesday, November 12, 2024: TWOfer Tuesday - The "Hey" Edition

Hey there!

Facebook has been increasingly targeting my blog posts for removal, they are calling them "spam", and the official notice states, "It looks like you tried to get likes, follows, shares or video views in a misleading way."  I still don't even know what than means.

Until I get this sorted out, I think I will devote less time to writing, which is a drag, because writing about music is like dancing about architecture is one of my favorite things to do.

Tuesday, May 24, 2011: B.o.B. ft Hayley Williams - Airplanes

This was a huge hit last year, so obviously I'm late in blogging it.

Or, on the other hand, I could be early on blogging it's status as a mainstream staple.

Yes, admittedly this song falls into many of the ubiquitous modern music production traps that plague most new releases.

However, I think there is enough true heart in this song to warrant another listen.

Especially if you've gotten tired of it since last year, but also if you're hearing this for the first time.

This is a track that rises above the fray (no flying pun intended)

And we could all use a wish right now, couldn't we?
