But, thing is, it's not a "band", Soccer Mommy is the project of Sophie Allison, an indie-rock musician and songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee.
Her breakout came with the 2018 album Clean, which features tracks like "Your Dog" and "Cool" that delve into themes of love, self-doubt, and empowerment. The follow-up album, Color Theory (2020), explores heavier emotional terrain, touching on mental health and grief, with standout tracks like "Circle the Drain."
