Sharp Pins is the solo project of Chicago-based musician Kai Slater, known for his involvement in the art-punk band Lifeguard and the indie collective Dwaal Troupe. With Sharp Pins, Slater delves into a vibrant blend of lo-fi power pop and jangly guitar rock, drawing inspiration from 1960s and 1970s rock aesthetics while infusing modern indie-pop sensibilities.
