Saying Donald Trump is a divisive figure is akin to saying World War 2 was a bit of a bummer, man.
Ever since he first floated down that escalator back in 2015, one of the unintended consequences of his intense and consistent presence in the American Political landscape is that his detractors always use his "unique" skin color to describe him, and always in an effort to mock or make fun of him.
Cheeto Mussolini, Angry Creamsicle, Pumpkin Spice Palpatine, Sweet Potato Hitler, The Manchurian Cantaloupe...... The list goes on.
This is a drag, though, because the beautiful and vibrant color Orange is now so closely associated with our current sitting President, that I fear it, too, will be disregarded into the dustbin of history after a few uncomfortable years.
Orange is a color often associated with enthusiasm, creativity, and vitality. Orange is described as invigorating and friendly. It’s playful but less aggressive than red, and more energetic than yellow. It catches the eye and can evoke feelings of warmth, excitement, and a sense of adventure. Orange is the color of a crackling campfire, a ripe pumpkin, or a bright tangerine — vivid, welcoming, and alive.
So that's why, today, I'm using my power and my privledge is bring forth a BRIGHT, NEW FUTURE for our much maligned color Orange. MAKE ORANGE GREAT AGAIN!
